These are bold statements that no one can dispute, Glock fan or not. I have often stated that the Glock is a staple in firearms. Its reliability is established and cannot be manipulated. The Glock is reliable beyond any doubt, and it has been proven in dozens of military, police and institutional tests. If you're spending less than a Glock, the question is, "What corners have been cut?" If you're paying more than a Glock, it begs the question, "What's the advantage?"
Among the Glock accessories tested is the Glock 9mm 33-round magazine. While there are floor plates, etc. that make up a 19 round magazine, the Glock 9mm's 33 round magazine is the big daddy of them all. This magazine was designed for use in the Glock 18, a fully automatic version of the 9mm Glock 17. The magazine weighs 20 ounces with a load of 124-grain bullets. Ammunition used was the Federal Syntech 124 grain load, a new load that I find exceptional for practical use. I train a lot with Glocks and love shooting these pistols.
The 33-round magazines remained loaded for months, and would start firing even when loaded to full capacity. If you want to use the traditional method of loading one or two rounds, this is fine for long-term use. However, I don't see the need for this magazine.
