Best Taurus 380 - Torus TCP was micro-sized. 380 ACP pistol was released by Taurus in 2008. Torres made the gun until 2014.
In the same market dominated by the Reger LCP, Torus' attempt to attract buyers for the TCP 380 ultimately failed. Low prices are usually a big selling point for Taurus tools, but the LCP is also priced very aggressively. Most buyers prefer the Ruger name.

Three versions of the Torus 738 TCP, or Torus Compact Pistol, were introduced at the 2009 Orlando Shooting Show. The TCP, also known as the Model 738, is a .380 ACP semi-automatic pistol.

The TCP was a very small, thin and light polymer gun. Made for a good pocket pistol.
These places are described by Torres as "low profile", but I would describe them more accurately as almost non-existent. That's too bad, because that was one of the main ways that this gun was able to differentiate itself from the original Ruger.
The Taurus TCP has a slide lock, ambidextrous magazine release and camera indicator. A slide stop is not always found on pistols of this size, and is never seen in a wide range except on large guns. These 738 TCP can be important features for anyone to choose.
Standard magazine capacity was six rounds. An additional eight rounds of magazine were sold with Thor. The extended magazine adds a bit of length to the gun's grip, which can make it harder to conceal, but makes it easier to hold.

ProMag also publishes a 10-round magazine. They were a little bulky, but gave you a significant increase in firepower.
If you have TCP .380 and need logging, two companies still offer logging. The McGarr offers a 6-round magazine, while the Pro Mag offers a 10-round extended magazine.

I hope you enjoy the Double Action (DAO) pistol as you will with this weapon. The trigger pull was long and medium heavy. I would have loved it with a smaller truck of the same weight.

Others may disagree with this assessment, as the Taurus 738 TCP is designed as a pocket gun. But I think you should always carry it in your pocket, so it will avoid problems with a slightly lighter trigger.
The TCP was the lightest rifle offered by Torus at the time, weighing in at 10.2 ounces with a blade or stainless steel slide, and nine ounces (!) with a titanium slide.
The titanium slide version was so light you might forget you were carrying it. These burdens are released. As far as I know, TCP has paired the poorly designed Torus sight with a titanium slide for the lightest rifle the company has ever made.
Mountain TCP is made right here in the USA. Torres makes most of its guns in Brazil, but small guns like the 738 TCP are difficult to import. In most cases, it makes sense for a company to invest in manufacturing here in the US. Not all parts are made in the USA, and most are made in Brazil, where the part's serial number is made in the country.
Million Settlement On Taurus Pistols; Nine Models May Be Unsafe
A Taurus representative at the show said the price will be "around $300," with the Titan model "about $100 more." Finally, street prices are almost always cheap, and the Torus rifle is very competitive on price. At the end of the day I would expect it to be a $300 gun. Time will tell.
Torres began selling white versions of the TCP pistol in 2014. The new rifles retained all the standard features of the TCP rifle, but with a white frame, or with either a pass or a white slide. Don't leave it in the snow.
Currently, the Torus has created a TCP with a pink frame, so the white line becomes the third frame color. Although not listed at MSRP, other models of the TCP retail for $355.66. I would expect this gun to be the same. This new model was introduced at the 2014 Shot Show in Las Vegas.

Popular Micro Nines For Concealed Carry
By 2017, Torres was ready to announce the TCP exchange. According to my sources, the 738 TCP has been lagging in sales due to price competition. With an understanding of poor quality control on the web, the company seems unable to compete.
The Specter was another Micro-380 that offered many features that none of its competitors offered. Even though I had high hopes for the Spec (even bought one at full retail), it came off as a bit of a letdown in my eyes. If you are thinking of buying one, I recommend reading my spectrum review.

I hoped the Mountaineers would be honest, and I wanted to give the pistol a fair push. If it proves reliable, it will be a welcome addition to the growing class of sub-compact self-defense tools.
Unfortunately, my gun is not reliable - even after factory reset. After reading websites for many tours, I noticed that others had problems on the spectrum.
It's really, really bad. The overall shape and lines of the gun suggest that it may be a better shooter than any .380 ACP pocket gun on the market. Combined with the belief that the gun represents a new era of improved quality in Tor, I was intrigued by the gun's capabilities.

With the tagline "Shaping the future of everyday utility," the Torus ranks the Spectrum as a compact pistol designed for self-defense. It is in this use, personal protection, that I will consider the spectrum.
The Specter is chambered for the .380 ACP cartridge, and standard magazines hold six rounds of ammunition. The gun has a polymer frame. Unlike other assault pistols, this one does not require pulling the trigger to fire.
Two main things set the Spectrum apart from other .380 ACP designs. The first is the most obvious: the combination of colors.

Mountain wanted to satisfy the aesthetic desires of various hidden citizens of the spectrum. So, the gun was originally available in different color options. After the initial launch, the company introduced many color combination options. The advertised color combination options are listed below.
However, it appears that spectrum sales - at least for the non-standard color range - have not met expectations. For a short period of time, Torus expanded the offer to include black frames, with your choice of matte stainless or material black slides.
Another important design difference is the use of soft polymer at the main points of the frame and the slide of the gun. They are used to improve the shooter's grip when shooting and handling the gun. They also say it has the advantage of mitigating the damage.
News of the Taurus spectrum has been circulating in the weeks leading up to the 2017 shooting show. I was interested in the information I received, and I was interested in what Torres had come up with.
